Our goals are to get you to think about your shooting performance, apply the principles of science, and peak performance, and become aware of things you may not have known before or were not applying correctly.
We have quantified our system in the form of physical laws, principles, and concepts that are based on the laws of nature and science. It can be applied at different angles to create more effective ways of controlling or directing the firearm.
Shooting is both an art and a science. It uses the laws of physics, motor learning and behavior, and human psychology. Defensive shooting, in addition, utilizes the laws of armed conflicts learned over many years. We must follow the same laws of nature and the principles our discipline is based on. We simply interpret them as best as we can to improve our skills.
The information presented here is for general educational purposes only. Comprehensive training and safety precautions are necessary to carry on similar activities!

What is the Reactive Shooting Platform? Handgun Mastery PRO
Просмотров 9 тыс.2 месяца назад
There is a common misunderstanding among many shooters that the shooting platform is the same as the shooting stance. But what about shooting while moving? The shooting platform is actually the biomechanical base that forms part of the shooting stance, but it is not the entire stance. It serves as the foundation upon which the natural point of aim is created. This structural framework, comprisi...

Mastering FAST Multiple Target Engagement: What do your eyes need to see?
Dis appointed. Just don’t want a doubke single. Where’s striker or s.a. Pistols?
Awesome briefing and absolutely wonderful metaphor to use the leverage of the nutcracker to keep the principle as simple as possible and yet, burn it into our minds!!!!
these professionals that shoot rapid fire and the gun barely recoils, is that gun control or is that the gun is specially customized? i mean, it looks like there is like literally no barrel rise at all.
This is difficult starting out. I can barely get through 2 trigger press without the casing falling out as I extend my trigger finger
As an owner of Captain of crush grippers from the sport model all the way up to the 1.5, I can say holding the 1 closed with three fingers and manipulating your trigger finger. That freely is pretty damn impressive, definitely setting a goal to match this strength and dexterity. I’ve seen improvement in my shooting in three weeks of doing a regular training regimen with the captions of crush grippers.
What is your ranking in IPSC ?

I keep full load magazine of pistol all the year it's magazine spring will be lose or not ?
Over time, the magazine springs may become loose (typically after a few years). We recommend replacing the magazine springs within this period to ensure the magazines remain reliable. Replacement springs are inexpensive and easy to install.
borat: “very nice”
For some reason, Borat and Christopher Walken keep coming to mind
Cool
Great
Thanks!

Sacha Baron Cohen so funny!
If you hold that 1911 right, it pushes backwards more than barrel up, it's definitely in the wrists. Same reason I like those smaller broom handle grips on a revolver.
Holding the gun as high as possible will help minimize muzzle flip to some extent. However, it is essential to keep your wrists stiff, as each joint introduces a point of variability.
Accuracy onpoit as f*ck😮
👍🏻
Good stuff. My favorite range gun.
Indeed 👍🏻
can you tell me what you have wrapped around your pressure hand (support hand) index finger, because that's exactly where I feel pressure to the point of pain whenever I practice for a while.
You can use athletic tape or finger sleeves to make the pressure point more comfortable.👍🏻
Wow no shit
give it a try 👍🏻
I’d love to get something like this for my P320 Xten. The added weight will definitely help tone down the recoil of full power 10mm.
The frame significantly changes the feel of the gun, and it's fantastic. We appreciate the angle and thickness of the grip, and the material greatly enhances the gun's performance and dynamics. 👍🏻
@@TacticalPerformanceCenter Will there ever be a 10mm version?

Straight forward and great lesson on the trigger pull focus and to describe difference between the distance and need for reason of pulling trigger
Thank you!
Eh. I think if you have a great grip you can compensate for bad trigger control.
It can compensate to a degree, but especially at greater distances, it will negatively impact accuracy. A poor trigger pull affects the grip as well, causing sympathetic finger squeezes that change grip pressure during the shot. This inconsistency in grip will definitely move the sights out of alignment, particularly during a string of multiple shots.
Ah yes my favorite tactical hooknose. This might be the worst explanation of a pistol grip I have ever heard.
This is just a small aspect of the pistol grip, highlighting the complexity of a specific gripping technique. For more details, watch: ruclips.net/video/WVnArod8Adg/видео.html ; ruclips.net/video/MlE453_gFf8/видео.html ; ruclips.net/video/wDNZBhpE4Fc/видео.html ; ruclips.net/video/nKdEp5R2kqM/видео.html While there are various techniques and modifications for properly gripping a gun, they all adhere to the same core principles. We advocate for a principle-based approach. We believe you may be reaching a conclusion too quickly.
Thanx for the info, and tips!!!! Straight to the point, and explained very well….
Thanks! We are glad it's helpful 👍🏻
Absolutely ridiculous price point. Product certainly isn’t worth 700… I’m sure it’s good but it ain’t that good😭 any more than 300-400 is robbery
Thanks for your comment. At the end of the day, the market will decide this product’s success or failure. We think it is a good upgrade for the P320 if one is willing to make the investment.
This is a great video. I am an old school iron sights shooter...focus on the front site is the Mantra I am used to. I just started learning how to use a red dot...and focusing on the target is a new task for me. I guess practice practice practice.
Right on 👍🏻 The idea is to focus on a small spot on the target nd to react when you see the color of your dot in that sport. The more you pracice the more confident with that technique you will become 👍🏻
You gotta ask yourself did i shoot 5 or 6 bullets punk ?
Average gun fight is 3’, lasts 3 seconds and 6 rounds. Faster and on target almost always wins. Look at the California homeowner (2024)who gets attacked in his entrance by 2 gunman. 3 people shooting in close quarters originally and zero hits. These kind of competitions help you hit a target. Most thugs don’t practice, you should. The sheriff in Florida offers homeowners shooting lessons so he has less paperwork and expenses.
We agree! Practical competition sports build confidence in gun manipulation and accuracy under speed, which can be a crucial factor in self-defense situations. 👍🏻
What do you recommend for G43x?
Same principles 👍🏻 Even though the Glock 43 is a subcompact gun with a significantly reduced gripping surface, the same principles apply. That's the beauty of principles-if the gun has a handgrip, trigger, and sights, the fundamentals remain the same. Of course, full-size guns are easier to shoot, but with practice, you can adapt to subcompact ones as well. Focus on applying more pressure to increase friction. ☝🏻
Great instruction. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! 👍🏻
Will this fit the p230 45 acp model?

@@TacticalPerformanceCenter I’ve made progress already up to the .5 as my work gripper, T for warm ups, and 1.0 for the “reach”. Started with S,T,0.5 a few weeks ago. I like the elastic bands to work the other direction as well….
look at that dude Miles' bio on tactical hive... "i wanted to join the military but it wasnt in the cards for me... but "Miles" means soldier sooo i was probably a soldier in a past life..." whats he trying to even say here??? "i basically served but i didnt" ??? ... what an assclown
Ron was the best. I had the privilege of spending a lot of time with him some years ago. He was uncompromising in his values and supported people in their training efforts. He gave so much of himself to others. I am glad to see his memory lives on through his training videos.
We all miss Ron. The TPC mission is to continue his legacy in the best possible way!
Intro has me wishing I chose a diff career in the military. Coulda woulda shoulda.
Are you squeezing the gun and leaning in? I hate how to minimize recoil you have to do all these techniques in order to get accurate shots.
We apologize for the late reply. The key is to grip the gun firmly, maintain consistent pressure before, during, and after each shot, and keep your wrists stiff. Let the gun recoil naturally; do not try to pull it down after the muzzle flip. Create a biomechanical gun vise with your body and grip.
Slap faster, grip is stronger than finger
Pulling the trigger straight back is crucial. Additionally, the ability to isolate the trigger finger from the rest of the fingers is critical. Otherwise, there will be a sympathetic reaction, causing a change in grip pressure during the shot, which must be avoided. While gripping as hard as you can is one way to isolate the trigger finger, excessive pressure in the shooting hand can slow down trigger manipulation and may lead to a "trigger freeze."
Love these quick hit videos! Also so grateful for the full length explanations
Glad you like them! 👍🏻
Depending on how fast you have to move, like when all Hell has broken out, a tucked Weaver gun extension where your triceps are tucked into your chest and your elbows are pulled in tight also works well and especially when maneuvering indoors and around obstacles. It's a technique that's used with subguns and shorty ARs.
The Weaver stance provides a stable shooting platform but has its limitations, especially when it comes to movement. It doesn't guarantee a full 360-degree range of motion. Because you are bladed to one side, moving to the right is easy (assuming you are a right-handed shooter). However, moving quickly to the left while maintaining your aim on the target or threat is more challenging and slower, as the shooter must almost move backwards in this case.
@@TacticalPerformanceCenter There are times and places for both techniques. You are a large, strong and in shape individual. You have the strength to manage the extended arm position with fatiguing somewhat quickly. Not everyone can do what you do. For those who do not have your build or arm strength their weapon will still bounce considerably. I've instructed officers for 30 years and you can't put every individual in the same box. Keeping the weapon in a close to the body supported weaver style style reduces bounce and makes the gun controllable for those who physically do what you do. Both work.
Perfetto, ogni suggerimento è molto apprezzato 😊👍
